Role Overview

We're seeking an Automation Engineer passionate about streamlining operations and enhancing productivity through innovative automation solutions. You'll leverage platforms such as Zapier, Make.com, and various SaaS APIs to deliver custom workflows, integrations, and AI-driven automation tailored to our customers' unique business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using Zapier, Make.com, and other integration tools.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, identify automation opportunities, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Integrate SaaS applications through APIs to enhance functionality and drive seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement AI-powered workflows, leveraging GPT models and other machine learning technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable automation solutions.
  • Document automation processes thoroughly, enabling ease of maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and deploying automations using Zapier, Make.com, or similar integration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating diverse SaaS tools.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly generative AI tools like OpenAI’s GPT models.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) and/or low-code/no-code automation tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical details into clear business language.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working directly with small businesses or in consulting roles.
  • Familiarity with software development practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple automation projects concurrently, balancing timelines and client priorities.
